Language

A grammar rule explained in Dutch is hard to follow while you are still learning Dutch.

Explanations in your language. The Dutch stays Dutch.

  • English, Persian, Turkish or Arabic. Switch in the middle of a lesson.
  • Dutch examples stay in Dutch, so you learn the real sentence.
  • Persian and Arabic run right to left, as they should.

Explanation

With omdat (because) you give a reason. The verb comes at the end of that part here, as in omdat mijn werk in Zwolle is (because my work is in Zwolle).

Your mistakes come back until they stick.

Which exams does it cover?

The course is built for the A2 and B1 language exams — lezen, luisteren, schrijven, spreken — and KNM, and is published unit by unit from the beginning, so most of what is ready today is beginner level. Bram’s conversation lessons run from your first words to B2. ONA is not covered.

What is KNM?

Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij — Knowledge of Dutch Society: how the Netherlands works, from healthcare and politics to schools and work. It is examined alongside the language components.

How much time do I need?

Fifteen minutes a day is the design point: due review plus one short task. Ten minutes still makes a useful session.

I don't speak Dutch yet. Can I start?

The course is designed to start from zero. Explanations are available in English, Persian, Turkish and Arabic, while Dutch examples stay in Dutch.

How is this different from a general language app?

Everything is shaped by the exam: tasks mirror its components, and progress counts observed evidence instead of streaks or points. There is no league to climb.

Is the AI feedback always right?

No — and it says when it is unsure. Corrections follow a rubric and any of them can be disputed. Bram is an AI too, and can be wrong.

Can I create an account?

Yes. Answer a few questions about your exam and your time, then sign in with Google. Signing up is free and includes a few lessons; a free trial opens the rest, and a card is needed to start it.

Who checks the lessons?

Each lesson is written for this course, then checked in separate AI review passes — the Dutch, the teaching and each translation — and approved once every finding is fixed. No qualified Dutch teacher has reviewed them yet. Bram’s conversation lessons are written by AI and have not been reviewed.

What happens to my data?

Export everything you have written, or delete your account, from settings. Analytics stores nothing on your device unless you accept it.

You can change this at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page or in Settings.

Lets our analytics service keep a small identifier, so visits days apart count as one person, and record the screen with everything you type and read hidden. Off: we still count visits, but nothing is stored on your device.
