Brief van de huisarts

Beste mevrouw De Vries, uw bloedonderzoek is klaar.

Wij willen graag een afspraak inplannen om de uitslag met u te bespreken.

§01How it works

Read, tap, save. Three motions.

The reading module is the calmest surface in the product. No quiz pressure, no countdown — just a real Dutch passage and the help you need, when you need it.

  1. 01

    Read at your pace

Serif type, generous line height, no autoplay audio. The page reads as prose, not as a coloured-link soup.

  2. 02

    Tap any word

An overlay opens with the meaning in your language, an audio button, and a real example sentence.

  3. 03

A quiet check at the end

Two or three short comprehension questions. No quiz, no leaderboard — only the questions an examiner would ask.

  4. 04

Save what you want to keep

One tap adds the word to your personal flashcards. It shows up in tomorrow's review.

§02What you read

Five worlds. Same exam.

§03What we ship

What reading practice does and doesn't.

Honest about what's live today versus what is on the road map.

We do this today
  • Passages written for the inburgering reading exam, by hand, at A1 to B1.
  • Tap-to-translate on every word, with the meaning in your first language.
  • Audio per word on tap, plus audio for the full passage.
  • Save any word to your personal flashcards in one tap.
  • A short comprehension check at the end of each passage.
Not today
  • We don't publish machine-generated passages — every text is curated.
  • We don't promise fluency. We promise the reading scope the exam tests.
  • We don't cover regional Dutch (West-Vlaams, Limburgs). The exam doesn't either.
§05FAQ

Questions about reading.

  • 01

    Are the passages exam-format?

Yes — the passages match the length, register, and topic scope of the inburgering reading exam at A1, A2, and B1. The end-of-passage questions mirror the exam's question types.

  • 02

Is there audio for the words?

Every word has a tap-to-listen button. The full passage also plays as a single audio track.

  • 03

    Which languages are translations in?

Seven first languages today: English, Arabic, Turkish, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, and Persian. Translations are AI-generated and reviewed.

  • 04

    Does it work offline?

Passages require a connection today. An offline reading mode is on the road map; it isn't live yet.

  • 05

Where do my saved words go?

Into your personal flashcard deck, with the example sentence and audio attached. They appear in your daily review.

  • 06

What if a word has no translation?

You'll see 'no definition yet' with a one-tap 'report missing word' — that's how we close the dictionary gaps.
